On The Same Planet -We live on the same planet
Osaka City Central Public Hall, which is a nationally important cultural property, is located on Nakanoshima, Osaka.
“I want to hold an exhibition in this historic building.” That wish came true, and in the scorching heat of August 2016, “On The Same Planet
We are living on the same planet” was held.
This exhibition embodies the idea that “We are living on Earth at the same time, a small planet in a big universe. Let’s get along even better!” This exhibition features works by children from Kids Art Land, as well as “The joy of drawing transcends borders.” Photos of children’s drawings and activities at a support facility for people with disabilities in Vientiane, Laos (March 26-27, 2015) in the “Te” project (2015.03.26-27), photos of drawings and activities of children at an art school, residential facility for the disabled, and elementary school in Finland We held an exhibition on (2015.10.22-24).
We also displayed original picture book illustrations and original character designs by GOFAR BANK representative Baba Tae.
This exhibition also featured works from the “Bridge Project: Let’s build a small bridge between the hearts of children in Finland and Japan.”
In this bridge project, Finnish children first draw half of a bridge, send it to Japan, and Japanese children draw the other half of the bridge, completing one bridge.
“How will it feel to cross this bridge?” “What kind of people will cross this bridge?” Children draw a “bridge” with many emotions in mind.
It is a project that hopes that the pure thoughts and creativity of these children will connect the hearts of children and build a small “bridge” to the hearts of children around the world.
“About the Bridge Project”
Can you make friends with strangers?
The answer is probably known by those who have embarked on this journey.
Bridge Crosser – Bridge Traveler
The Bridge Project is a journey where you discover something you don’t know.
What you don’t know is probably waiting on the other side of the bridge.
What will you encounter when you cross the bridge?
What does it mean?
Building half of the bridge means believing in the other side of the bridge.
The first half creates the journey.
The other half decides the destination of the trip.
The person who starts building the bridge and the person who brings together the story of the bridge.
The two jobs come together to create harmony in diversity.

That is our bridge project.
On the evening of the final day, chromatic harmonica player Naoya Oka gave a surprise performance, and the beautiful harmonica tone captivated the hearts of many people along with the glow of the illuminated building, bringing the hot summer of Central Public Hall to a close. closed.
