Children in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, drew pictures with “hope for tomorrow” and the feeling of “let’s do our best!” and children at Kids Art Land in Osaka drew “a little picture of the children in the disaster area.” But I want to give you courage.” A total of about 400 paintings he worked hard on were exhibited at a gallery in Osaka’s Chuo Ward.
At the venue, mugs and gopher goods with pictures drawn by children from Iwaki City and Kids Art Land were sold for charity, with total sales of 547,500 yen.
All proceeds will be used to support children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
